Welcome to Relocation Africa

Relocation Africa is a service company which assists individuals and corporate clients settle their trans-located employees and families into a new environment as efficiently and atraumtically as possible. This allows the employee to settle down in an unfamiliar city much quicker, resulting in a more efficient and effective employee in a shorter time. Benefits to the Employer include the outsourced management of the relocation as well as the speed at which the expatriate can became effective in their new environment. Moving in or out of Africa seems quite daunting for people coming from different backgrounds. Internationally Africa is perceived as being a hazardous, third world country and for this reason relocatees may be hesitant to move there. An organisation such as Relocation Africa would be positioned to assist new arrivals to overcome the fears and frustrations involved in relocating to this country. However, outbound is just as traumatic and Relocation Africa facilitate the movement abroad to countries outside the African continent.

BACKGROUND
Relocation Africa was established in 1993 and has grown from a base office in Johannesburg, South Africa with four employees. The head office has now been relocated in Cape Town, and we also cover Algiers, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Chad, Ghana, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Reunion, Senegal, Togo, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. We are also represented worldwide through various networks of international relocation companies.

Relocation Africa offers more than convenience to relocatees. It attempts to present a realistic perspective of African life to clients, which facilitates the acclimatisation into the new environment. The staff of Relocation Africa realise that they also need to act as counsellors to support and guide the relocatee and their family during the stressful transition.
